Memorization does not equate to the renewal of the mind. But it’s a great start. For it to come out of your understanding that I have what I say is powerful.
Do you understand the motive of why I share about my seed sowing account? When it comes to the time to produce what you say you know, that’s where the enemy gets his greatest advantage. The reason for sharing about the seed sowing account is not trying to impress anyone, but to encourage you.

When you set yourself and prepare seed, the Lord already had in mind that Dr. DeeDee and I would co-own a car dealership. There are only two African American car dealership owners in this region. This is a phenomenal testimony of how God will increase us all when we set ourselves to give our lives to the Lord. Confess: Lord, I’m available for you to increase me more and more.
It is dangerous to sit under the Word and refuse to change.
Dr. DeeDee: We have two mindsets, growth mindset and fixed mindset. Fixed mindsets are those that operate in fear, don’t think they can learn more or are capable of doing much. They max out at the level that they are on. This person also operates in pride. They see failure as a failure. The person with a growth mindset operates in faith because they know learning is amazing, they are after knowledge, they desire to grow, and they look at a challenge as an opportunity to learn and increase more. The Word of God gives us remedy to change from the fixed mindset to growth mindset.
Pastor Mike: The reason why some are growing in the ministry and others aren’t because of the fixed mindset and the growth mindset. I heard a report that only 2% of people think, 3% think they are thinking and 95% do not think. We get up every day and follow routine, for instance: married couples what’s the latest new thought you have about growing your relationship? When was the last time you thought about something for the first time? What first time thinking, or activities are you doing today? What’s been added to your life to prove that you are thinking beyond what you typically do? There are a lot of people not thinking throughout the day.
If your thoughts don’t change, your actions will not change.
You come in here to have your thoughts washed. A lot of the thoughts you’re having aren’t even your thoughts. Some of those thoughts do not belong to you. The spirit of God told me, a lot of you need to go home and start cleaning up the filth and the clutter in your house because it’s impacting the way you think. Your environment.
Wherever a man lays his head that will determine his dreams.
Pastor Dewayne: when you look at winners and losers – people are congratulating the winners at the finish line. Winners always win before they start. They don’t win when they get to the finish line. They win in their mind first and most people don’t think like that before they start. They wait until they get the trophy and then they want to think like a winner but that’s not how it goes. You are going to win or lose battles in your mind. That’s what Pastor Mike is doing, brain washing you because if you don’t, some of you have ways that will fight Gods ways when God is trying to talk to you.
Pastor Mike: You don’t even know you are an enemy of God in your mind. You are an enemy to the order of God in your mind.
Dr. DeeDee: This is about how you see yourself. You have to see yourself better. All of our environments have shaped us. You have the ability to reshape how you think. Get away from the same people you’re always around. Expose yourself to something different. It will put a demand on you to change.
Pastor Mike: You’re not a liar, you just keep thinking the same. Just start thinking, I tell the truth. I love Jesus and I tell the truth. Declare: I am what God says I am. I am what God says I can be. I am what God says I can have.

Here’s the challenge, your imagination is distorting your image. If you’re not deliberately imaging the image that you have been made in, it’s going to darken the image of God in you. The things you’re doing and the reason why you’re doing it, you don’t understand the image of God in you. We would not perpetually do what we are doing that’s an enemy against God. If we understood the image of God in us. I would stop some stuff that’s in my life. You would already know that this is a violation, and you would respond to the violation. But your image has been distorted.
Pastor Dewayne: God gave man His image and His likeness before He gave them dominion. A lot of people want to rule and reign, and they are going after stuff, but they don’t have His image and likeness. The first thing the devil went after when he was talking to the woman in the garden, he went after that image. He said, God does know the day you eat of this tree, you will be like Him. The devil tried to get her to become something that she was already because she didn’t know who she really was.
Pastor Mike: You want to have dominion before you have the image. If you really walked in the image of God, you would not hate on people. This is why we should enter this place to learn. By now, you ought to be teachers. Shout: I understand the assignment.

Homework Assignment: Go home and look at your house. Your house will describe to you who you are. You are who you are in the unsupervised areas of your life. Some don’t have to get home; you can start with your car.

The last thing you want to do when you receive a thought that doesn’t belong to you is repeat it. You have to speak against that thought. Jesus answered the thought with the Word, it is written. We live in a word ruled world.
