I spent five weeks getting you to leave. You said, “You’re my Pastor.” So if I’m going to be your Pastor, let me Pastor you. Let me drive; let me lead. There’s something on the tither that is not on the non-tither. Most pastors talk about this because they have need, they need you to tithe. If not one of you gave another dime in this ministry for years, it would not matter. This ministry, from day one, has been in the black; we’re thirty years old and NO debt. We owe no man, and as my house is run, I run this house the same way. By the leading of Holy Spirit. So this Divine Alignment is specifically designed to get you in line with God’s plan for every area of your life. So Germain or relative to your finances, there is an alignment. If it were up to me, I wouldn’t ask any of you all for a dime. The tithe is a cutting edge in life.
Elder Soneil: You’re talking about a system. And a system works for everyone who works the system. If we keep working the system, we’ll live alike. Have the same encounter and experiences that you’re having. And that’s the beautiful thing about tithing; it puts all of us on the same playing field. All of us can win. This system is foolproof and guaranteed to work ONLY for those who work the system.
Now imagine if you’re doing as well as you’re doing now, without tithing. Imagine what’s going to happen when you put His super on your natural. It is the order of God for you. Because of what God has shown me through this principle, somebody else is interested in my coins. I’ve been tithing for over 40 years, not missing a dime out of any dollar. You remember the term “Fergan” The Jewish community circulates their resources at least 17-23 times before it leaves. I read a study years ago that the dollar doesn’t spend the night in the African American community. I’m talking about believers. What believers are buying, believers should be supplying. I do business with people in this ministry, from exterminators to real estate agents.
We have to represent the Kingdom of our God. I’m enjoying the fact that I’m aligned because a good man…somebody has to teach you. Why despise me because I’m bold enough to stand before you and tell you what you need to do and what you need to stop doing.
Elder Soneil: We are ready! I’m glad we’ve entered into these buildings to learn. You taught us, Pastor; all increase comes through exposure. And the good thing that’s happening right now it that we’re being exposed to kingdom ways of thinking. Because if you can’t get your mind right, you can never get your life right. You don’t know Gucci or Chanel…we’re investing in them and not investing in the Kingdom. And I’m so glad Jesus has provided a way for us to be Jews. We’re all adopted Jews. When we’re talking about “Fergan” and circulating resources amongst our community, we’re setting everyone up to win. It’s not ok for just Pastor to win, Pastor Towe to win, or Pastor Henry. Every partner can win if you practice kingdom principles.
My estate attorney told me that if you were ever to go to a bank, you wouldn’t have to show any cash, just put up the life insurance policies. The cash value in the life insurance policy could already qualify you for stuff even if your credit gets bad. It’s not the devil. It’s ignorance. And there’s nothing the devil loves more than an ignorant Christian. We don’t have a problem with satin; we have a problem in our stinking thinking. It’s not aligned with God. But you like a lot of stuff; you like to floss.
I’m going to share a lot of the things that Dr. Cindy Trimm shared last week. I have listened to that lesson about 5/6 times now. Last Sunday was the last time some of you all heard that, and you’re not going to get it until you get it. You’re going to have to spend time with these principles. She said something that kind of got my attention; if you ask her for $1,000 offering, that’s an insult. And it’s possible that some of you could have been offended because you have reduced all of these principles to money. And I feel so awful for your weak thinking…emotions, behaviors, and making decisions; it’s challenging for me. Because you don’t have to be weak in your thinking and your soul. You’re letting the hurt of the past haunt you in your future. Say, “It’s my responsibility.” It’s your fault if you continue to hurt. The Bible says, “Let not your heart be troubled….”
To me, it’s simple writing a $1,000 check now because I’ve been in alignment. I align my thinking with the Word. I take the Word and my thinking and match it up with it. If God says, I’m rich, then that’s what I’m thinking. And I’ve been thinking rich long before I was. She (Dr. Trimm) said she doesn’t listen to anyone talk about wealth if they are not wealthy. I talked about wealth long before I had wealth. Say, “I have some of that, wealth, joy, peace. I’ll have what God says I’ll have, RIGHT NOW.”
Elder Soneil: That’s really good because what you’re doing is arresting our thinking. I don’t know if anybody in here, you’ve been arrested. If you’ve been arrested, you come under the control of a higher authority. The problem is some of us have been resisting arrest. The Holy Spirit, through our man of God, has been trying to arrest our thinking. He’s trying to bring your stinking thinking under the control of God. Now you know, when people resist arrest, it normally doesn’t go well. So, my question is, how long are you going to continue to resist the arresting of the Holy Spirit? It’s our thinking that causes us to resist, but when you surrender all, then you can enter into the place where God wants you and I to be. Come on, let’s STOP resisting arrest today!
Terrible things happen when you resist arrest you, and the Lord wants to arrest you with His principles. God, I so want for your all to prosper and have a good life. Some of you have this prosperity thing twisted. Prosperity is not having a big house, car, or multiple cars. True prosperity only begins when you possess the Mind of Christ.
Whereby the things I used to do, places I used to go, things I used to think; I don’t do anymore. That’s true prosperity, and it’s out of that impetus that prosperity is released in your life. The stuff is a byproduct of the mind of Christ. Shout that, “My stuff is the byproduct of the mind of Christ.”
I’m teaching people to be the lenders and not the borrowers. Stop jumping on ‘free stuff.’’ You’re already free by virtue of your name…Free Man. Sometimes when you set yourself from keep taking stuff from people, it’s a mindset that’s crippling you. Because what I’ve discovered, people are going to go and do and pay for where they want to go and do. If they don’t want to put out for themselves, they’ll take a handout from somebody else. STOP IT! I’m not training you for handouts. I’m training you for handing out.
Elder Soneil: I like the example you gave because it’s really the same way the Lord Jesus has been working with us. He tells us to come in as we are, but He never intends for us to stay the way we are. And so you may be saying, well, I don’t have my needs met right now. But I’m glad we’re talking about thinking because you’ll never so someplace that you’ve never thought about going. Every time you get to a destination, you’ve been there at least twice. First, in your thinking, and then you physically show up. What our Pastor is doing, because this is a STRETCH Zone, he’s stretching you and I from where we are, not to where he wants you to be, but where God wants you to be. God wants you and I to be the lender and not the borrower. But you can’t get there unless you think that way. You’ve got to think. First, I am Soneil Bank of Silver Spring…you’ve got to see yourself as that person who’s literally lending. Go home and practice a transaction. “I’m glad to serve you today. How much money do you need?” And you write that check. But your thinking has to get there first before you can physically get there. So that’s why we’ve entered into this place. We’ve entered in to learn! Learn about what? Who God created you to be. At some point, we need to be introduced to the person God created. Say this, “My name is God in the earth.” God has created you and I as the person who is the answer for this earth, and you’ve got to think that. You won’t ever be it unless you think it.
Here’s my assumption. You join me for every opportunity I’m speaking. It equates to joining me because I’ve joined Cindy Trimm all this week. Everything stays up on Facebook, so every lesson you miss you can go back and get. It’s so important because I’m building your lives with the Word of God. And if you miss a meeting or a session, it’s like missing, putting in some bricks to the buildout.
I want you to understand that although I’m building your life for the future and for perpetual success, I want to remind you continuously that Jesus is soon to return. You can be so caught up in hearing these principles of building your life an loose sight of His return, which is sooner than we all think. Jesus said, you won’t be able to tell the difference of seasons, and I don’t want Him to catch you sleeping. I don’t want any of you all to think, just as you’ve been turned on by the grace revelation, that you’re not going to be judged for the way you live. Every man will stand before the Bema Seat and be judged for everything you’ve done, whether it’s good or bad and still go to heaven. I don’t want you to be frightened about whether or not you’re going to make it in. You’re in when you accepted Jesus Christ as Lord because He deals with you based on Jesus’ sacrifice and no good of your own.
Elder Soneil: You’re asking us a question with the statement you’re making. And the question is this as we’re talking about Grace and the misrepresentation in this generation. Are we going to Heaven while leading others to hell by the way we are living? In the scripture, the Word is a Greek word that means actor, playing a role. So we can’t be actors, because sometimes we see a person performing in a movie on the street, and we identify them based on the role they’re playing. The role is leading you to think a certain way and act a certain way. So you hear Pastor say we want to purify our thinking. But they were just playing a role. The role is causing you to think, act and live a certain way. So what I hear our Pastor say is we want to purify our thinking, so our thinking aligns with our living, that we’re not leading people someplace that we ourselves are not going. At some point, we need to be others minded and what we say matches how we live holy lives and not just perform. We’ve got to be who God has called us to be.
I stood here and wondered that if I had you up here as a Elder Soneil, for instance, would what we are saying be seamless when I threw it to you? So as the believer, the Bible says, “Come out from among them and be separate.”
But there should be a difference. We’re trying to merge two systems into this one. We’re talking about the representation issue. How is your life reflective of the Kingdom, of this system? Whereby you are going somewhere different from where you’re leading others based on your actions. It’s not a sin issue; it’s a soul issue. The reason why you keep doing what you’re doing, the devil is defeated in your life.
Dr. Trimm said that ‘Sin is a strategy. It’s a plan that satan has to deceive you to live outside of what’s supposed to be conveyed. That does not make any of us perfect. But based on the scripture I’m about to show you, it does mean that we’re in perpetual pursuit of purifying ourselves. But you can’t purify you until you purify your thinking. You’re being stingy is not about your budget; it’s about your thinking. You don’t have any control over your soul. So, you just sit down and have not disciplined your thinking.
Elder Soneil: You went exactly where I was going with that scripture, as a man thinketh in his heart. Thinketh means that it’s continual, and we can’t hide from what we think continually. Because sometimes, we make an excuse and say, ‘oh, this just happened.’ Nothing just happens; it comes by intentional and perpetual thinking. They wrote a book called, ‘Think and Grow Rich,’ and all throughout that book, it’s talking to us about our thinking. But that book came out of the Book we’re teaching from today.
Because all God is trying to do is get you to think right. If you don’t think right, you can’t live right. It’s a decision. Pastor Dewayne has taught us a decision means that you cut off ALL other options. There’s no other option in my life than to be a God-fearing person.
This Word today is anointing all of our heads because we have been banging our heads up against life (the wall), and the anointing of this Word is helping to preserve your life. But your life can only be preserved and protected,and propelled if your thinking is right. And that’s why He started with the head. That’s why I love what He’s done in this strategy because He’s anointed our Man of God, the head of this ministry. And because his thinking is right, our lives can be right. That’s why you need to make a decision whom you’re going to set your life under. If the head is not right, you know the body can never be right.
So, it is my duty and responsibility, and you’ve given me permission, to challenge you in your thinking. How do you think about marriage, raising your children? There are so many people who don’t know Him (Jesus) like I know Him. He loves you and wants a relationship with you. And that’s what you should be sharing, but it should come out of your life. I told you that your life is the greatest teaching tool that you possess.
1 John 3:1 (NKJV) – Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us because it did not know Him.
So, some of the things you’re doing, the world doesn’t recognize. The world doesn’t know what I know about loving my enemies.
1 John 3:2 (NKJV) – Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
As He is, so we, NOW. So, we should be making the transactions or transitions that are relative to seeing Him as He is.
1 John 3:3 (NKJV) – And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself just as He is pure.
God is not going to purify you. He said for you to purify yourself. How do you do that? With the renewing of your mind. In January, I talked about letting me be your Pastor. In February, I talked about pressing into understanding this Divine Alignment. It’s more important to get in line with Him than getting in line with yourself. Next series will be on the renewing of the mind. It’s the purification of your thinking that’s going to cause your living to come up. You just do what I tell you. I was rich long before it showed up. Since He’s no respecter of person, all of us should be living on top. Shout – ”I’m on TOP, never beneath; I’m ABOVE, never under; I’m the HEAD, never the tail; that’s where I choose and think to live!”
Cindy Trimm said this, “Nations fail when government becomes their god. And they prosper, when the make God their government. Government is another word for the Kingdom of God. You conduct yourselves as citizens of the Kingdom of God.
So, there should not be some of the things named in the world named among you. You cannot mix these kingdoms (the world and the Kingdom of God). The Bible says, “Happy is the man, whose God is the Lord.”
Psalms 139-23 & 24 (MSG) – Investigate my life, Oh God; find out everything about me; Cross-examine and test me; get a clear picture of what I’m about; see for yourself whether I’ve done anything wrong; then guide me on the road to eternal life.
You put your life before the Word, and God will begin to reveal the things that you have been thinking short of. And to not be strong in your thinking is an insult to the Kingdom. I put my thinking in the Word of God. He told me, “whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” Your soul is strong when you align it with the Word! You’ve got the strength to come out of anything you’re in today. And the reason why you stay in it is because you want to be in it. And he who faints in the day of temptation, their thinking is small.
Elder Soneil: That is so good that you’re loving us enough to tell us the truth. Because it’s truly the only thing that’s going to allow us to be the free men and women God has called us to be. God has given us a Man of God with the name Free Man because He wanted you and I free. And it’s the shackles being removed from our thinking today.
In your thinking is where the shackles are; it’s not in your actions, “God, why do I keep doing that?” No, you need to ask yourself, why do I keep thinking that? Because your feet will never go where your thinking has not been first.
Cindy Trimm said, “After thirty years of, there’s always an elevation in ministry.” I’m going to work on your soul like I have never done before. That’s why some things are being changed around here aesthetically. I’m STRETCHING you with your surroundings. You’re going to have to take this kind of thinking home. If you don’t add value to you, you’ll never add value to anyone else. Wherever a man lays his head, that will determine how he dreams.
Elder Soneil: Proverbs 14:12 – there is a way (strategy, system, path) that seems right (look, feel, and smell – all sense mechanisms) to a man, but its end is a way of death. And so what we have before us today are two ways, the way of the Kingdom and the way of the enemy. The devil is not our friend; he is our enemy. Because we have made a decision, this ‘Fergan,’ this community, to forego the way of the enemy and choose the way of the Kingdom. The only way we get Kingdom results is by making Kingdom decisions. You can’t make Kingdom decisions if you don’t have Kingdom information. You can’t get Kingdom information if you don’t have a Kingdom pass. And so today, choose the way of life. Reject the way of death. Life is better than death every time.
Shout – ”Life is better than death, up is better than down, it is better than out, rich is better than poor, peace is better than confusion, joy is better than misery. In every area of life, I’m going to divinely align my thinking with His Word. I WIN!”
