Sister Pat, you sent me something in a card, for Pastor’s Appreciation, and it blessed my life, and I want to share the scripture that you had put in it. Go, to 2Corinthians because the Bible says, “God is able to make all grace abound towards you.” Let’s look at it. Remember this whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly 2 Corinthians 9:6-8.
This is why I am saving to sow bountifully. I have never given a quarter million dollars at one time to anything, but I’m preparing my heart to do that. The quarter million dollars would be the money that we would have to help others in need. But if we all aren’t a participant in this order, how long do you think it’s going to last? It was someone else who had a similar situation as this man here. And this ministry called and found out and we beat the insurance company there. This ministry gave that family fifteen thousand dollars, right on the spot. Change their life. Put them in a far better position. Even family members and other relatives were asking them, “What did that church do for you?” Then we check the tithe record and there wasn’t any record of them giving. What did they do, what did their family do for the church? Nothing, but everyone expects the church to always be there. OK, I’m not upset about anybody because I would never come to a church. I personally would starve. Call it pride. Call it whatever. I was not raised like that, you not going to give me a handout. I’m going to go out here and I’m going to sweep some Barber Shop floors. I’m going to carry some bags. That’s what I did back in the day. I would run home scared they were going to stick me up before I got home. I mean, quarters galore! That was my hustle, going into the barbershop, sweeping the floor when the hair got on the floor, and then after I swept the hair I would run down to the Safeway and carry bags to cars getting money there. And then when that slowed down, I’ll go back to the barbershop. And I’m sweeping, I’m brushing the hair off people.

They would say that’s ok little man and give me a dollar. You’ll never catch me outside with a sign. All the money in the Earth, people giving it away. 2 Corinthians 9 is a law in the Word of God, folks. This is what I stake my entire life upon. I’ve been giving to the things of God for over 40 years without missing a dime out of a dollar. I hate that even got this suit on today because it looks like something else. That’s because it can look like something that I’m getting from here. That I’m looking like this because of you all. But I’m looking like this because of me! Are you hearing what I’m saying to you? And what I’ve been doing forever. I’m never going to go looking broke anywhere. Are you listening to me? My needs will always be met because of this law. I give bountifully. I receive bountifully.
I hate for Christians to have unmet needs. You all have all this other stuff but when it comes to tithes and offerings it’s not a part of your budget list. That’s the first thing that shows up on my list, tithes, and offerings. That’s how we going to determine whether we get other stuff or not. Dr. DeDe and I every single month before anything, give at least $18,000 every month. That’s where we start in our giving, $18,000 a month. I have never seen this kind of money in my life, but I have been doing it, for 40-plus years. And money, cometh just like he said. I don’t know anything about cars so, how do I own a Ford Motor dealership? It is the Lords doing, and it’s marvelous in my eyes. That’s what the scripture says, how did that happen in my life, it’s the seeds that I sow and my obedience in giving. I can’t convince some of you; you just going to do what you want to do. Some of you are thinking, “I don’t believe all that they just trying to get your money.” I’m not thinking about your money and that kind of sounds bad and arrogant. But I’m just telling you, I’m not thinking about your money.
My older sister will tell you; I’m not supposed to be here. It’s not based upon where I come from. But I got ahold of this principle this law. And I believed this law and I stayed with this law and God has shown Himself mightily. It’s amazing I got houses and people paying us every single month to stay in houses. It’s enough money to take care of somebody’s salary. I have been telling you all to keep more money and you still spending. You got to get ahold of that greed and that appetite to have stuff, stuff, stuff.
Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, whoever sows generously will reap generous harvests. I don’t know what y’all think about this. I don’t know how you can be stingy with your giving when it comes to ministry, but you can go buy the most exquisite weave. Your car is right, your house right, your clothes and stuff you buy, you are extravagant when it comes to stuff for you. But when it comes to stuff for God-you’re stingy. I’ve never given a quarter of million dollars, I’m over the halfway mark and it’s still a whole year to come up with one hundred thousand dollars more. I’ve been on this quest and every single dime of that money is going to this ministry. I don’t know how to convince you all. And some of you sit there and you don’t do a thing. How else can I help? If this exchange isn’t received from your listening to your man of God, the man you said God told you to connect to. You said that. And then when I tell you what to do, you question it or say well, I got to hear from God. Well, who do you come here to hear from? I ask you a question.. You come in here, to hear God through me. That’s the order of God. You don’t hear from Him any other way when you come here.
There’s a young lady in this ministry that has the opportunity to jump in her car every single day with her babies because the ministry put her in a car. We did that together. She drives. Why does any partner in this ministry have to walk to the ministry, or catch an Uber? Every one of y’all should have a car. There are enough resources in here for us to take care of every need in this place. But when you try to galvanize the people, everybody is looking out for themselves. And that’s diametrically opposed to the order of God. Start looking out for others and see what happens. Become others driven and watch how God just pours on you. That’s why DeDe will tell you, I’ll leave home with four or five thousand dollars in my pocket. I come home I may have fifty. She will ask, what did you do with all that money? My response “Man, I was giving.” She asks, you gave away all that money, but Mike that is not all God. And quite frankly she is right, some of it is not. But I am so used to giving. I think if I had that money in my pock right now, I would take care of everything someone needed right out of my own pocket. You are messing with the wrong one when it comes to sowing. I can give you all the money in the world but if you don’t change what you’re doing with it, you will find yourself back in the same place.
Pardon me if I’m talking harshly to you or abrasive. But let me Pastor you, too. Did you hear what I said? Because your situation should be far better than it is. Say amen to that. Say my situation should be better than it is. And some of you sitting here, you are sitting good, because you’re the ones who comply. And you know you give your tithes and offerings and not one financial need is in your life right now. You are sitting there saying, you, right Pastor. Then there are some of you all sitting here like, God, you going to have to fix this. No, God fixed it a long time ago. Remember this, whoever gives stingy will reap stingily. Whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Do you all believe the Bible?
2 Corinthians 9:7
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give. Here is the problem right here. You do not have anything in your heart. I got a quarter million dollars in my heart to give next October. I decided in my heart, and I have
$150,260.13 in that account right now. Do you realize what I can do with all that money? If you had $153,260.13 in your account, what would you do?
Some of you would take care of everything other than the house of your God. When I get more, I’m going to give more, you’re lying. Jesus called you a lie, not me. He said, if you are not faithful in the least, you’re not going to be faithful in the much. I don’t care how much you get. One of my spiritual sons just called me, he said, I’m slated to receive $22 million next week; what should I do with it? I said, come see me. No, because I need to talk to him. If you ever get twenty-two million, you shouldn’t want for nothing for the rest of your life. But if you don’t change your life, you will want again, you will find a way to be broke again. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves what kind of giver? He loves what? A cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:8
This is what was in this card. This was more than I’ve ever seen in any card in my life. When I open that card and the card fell out with this on it. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at what, all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. Look at it in the New King James. I love it in the New King James. And then we’re going to look at in the Message Bible and then I’m going to have to quit. You all did this.
Look at it in the New King James and verse #8 please. Verse #8 says and God is able to make all that grace abound toward you that you always having all sufficiency in all things may have an abundance for every good work. Let me see it in the Message Bible. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in the Message. And then let me see it in the TPT: vs 8 God can pour on the blessing in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything more than just ready to do what needs to be done. Let me see the TPT, and then I’m going to quit. God, I didn’t prepare to do this today, but here again we talk about being led by the Spirit. Yes. God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace. Somebody shout, overwhelmed me, God. OK, but you got to understand, vs 6 came before vs 8. You want vs 8, but you don’t want vs 6. I am not giving that joker. I am not giving that Pastor nothing, all that money. He come in there in all those suits like that. Coming out there taking care of what you want. That’s the craziest thing in the world. And the devil tried to feed you that crap. I use to give to Dr. Price and Dr. Price riding and looking good, he got multiple cars and DeDe and I got one. And I like this don’t make any sense. And he said it makes faith though. And I believed God. Now, He has made all grace abound towards us.
People say you got it like that cause you the Pastor. I wish if I could introduce you to all these broke Pastors. I think you would change your tune. Some of the most broke people are Pastors. And they try to look loaded. You should just try to look like you are right now, the best you can, until you get where you supposed to be going. I’ve never tried to be somewhere financially that I wasn’t. I always believe God. God is more ready to overwhelm you I’m not the only one in here who knows what I’m talking about. I just have to be the one who’s talking about it. Hey, look for real poop, Mike Freeman. Mike Freeman isn’t nothing big or special. Forget a Mike Freeman. What? You ask some of the people who don’t like me. They not impressed about me. This is not about me. I would not be up here in front of you all if it was up to me. People you living in a fishbowl? People got all kinds of things to say about me and my family. I don’t know whether it’s jealousy or whatever? And then I bounce back and just pour that Agape on them.
Oh yeah, I got feelings too. But I’m not going to be moved by how I feel, I’m going to be moved by what I believe. And I believe the love of God and God has shown me over and over again, time and time again, He wants to overwhelm you with every form of grace so that you will have more than enough of everything. Every moment and in every way, he will make you overflow with abundance and every good thing you do. Have I got a witness? Y’all stop spending, please. Go home, slash some stuff, cut up those credit cards, and stop using them. Stop it. Stop spending. Sell some stuff. Get rid of some stuff. Get yourself from under all that bondage. I hope somebody got something.
One partner just recently asked me for thirty thousand dollars, and I so wanted to do it. But, the Spirit of God said, don’t do that. The next thing I know, they send me a picture of a car down at my car dealership that they want to buy. No, they didn’t want me to buy the car, they want me to help them in business. What in the world are you going to buy a car for, I don’t care whose dealership it is. Certainly, we will take your money. The worst part about it, they checked his credit, and he didn’t qualify. What are we doing, how are we so out of control financially? That we just getting by paycheck to paycheck; we have to stop this hemorrhaging. You got to realize when you are out of control and ask God to help me. I’m just as passionate about this as if it was drugs. And we were talking about your drinking, and you were getting drunk. What’s the difference? You’re out of control. You have to fix that for generations to come. It’s not too late.
I want to appreciate all of you who have shown and given kind words this Pastors Appreciation month I hope you really appreciate me. I mean even the moments like this. I know who I am in Him, aside from Him, I’m an old dirty dog. I am nothing without Him.
None of us are anything without Him. If we had to compare it based upon flesh. Then we have the nerve to judge other people about their fleshly mishaps. OK, I’m not going to get into all that. I just want all of you to win. And if you’re not winning – it’s not the same. But you know how I did it? I did what my man of God told me to do. I listened to him every step of the way. I’m not supposed to be in this position I’m in. But because of the principles of God’s Word and my obedience to the order of God. God has proven His Word to be exactly what He said it would be. When He said He wants to overwhelm you, He means that. You’re looking at a boy and a girl out of southeast Washington, DC we met at summer youth job employment.
She was working at a swimming pool. I’m at a Recreation Center. What? You know, she was worse off than me. And when she started listening to me, her life changed forever.
The Lord bless you, the Lord keep you, The Lord make His face shine upon you. The Lord be gracious to you and give you His peace is my prayer. I love you.

The written word of God will not cause you to live a fulfilled life.
It’s the basic or standard for us. It keeps us on the right path, but it takes the leading of the Holy Spirit to cause us to live a fulfilled life.
The word can tell us to marry a believer, but the Holy Spirit will help you choose the right one for you.
This is why the subject of being led by Holy Spirit is so important because
2 Cor. 9:6
You determine or control the size of my harvest, not God
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NKJV)
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
Never marry giving scriptures with tithing scriptures.
Tithing is a fixed amount (10%) whereas giving is as you purpose in your heart.
Giving and tithing have different returns
