It is important that we are accountable to one another.
A lot of what I am presenting and taking the model from – DON’T BE ALARMED – is from Jehovah’s Witnesses!
It’s about how they go about being in the WORD. I am just checking out the best mythology to get you fired up about the WORD of GOD.
What’s the best way to get you engaged?
Culturally speaking, the way we have set up ministry, especially in the African American community, I am SPIRIT first and I have a SOUL and I live in a BODY. The only thing African American about me is my body! It just happens that my body is in this dark house.
We put too much emphasis on the body and not the spirit.
My body is not me and I am not my body! The sooner we can get a hold of that and understand that we will deduce racial inequality.
MAJOR OBSERVATION:
I have noticed that a lot of believers have had a greater connection of encounter with the WORD thru the building than thru your relationship or appetite for the BIBLE. The only relationship that you have had with the Bible has come by way of this building. The building has helped you have a relationship with the Bible.
HOW MUCH ARE YOU IN THE BIBLE?

- vs. 12 informs us or lets us in on why… the fivefold ministry gifts are to nurture and prepare the Holy believers for their own works of ministry
- You have a work! Whatever field you are in you should be raking in the harvest. You are 1st Minister/Accountant; You are 1st Minister/Doctor; 1st Minister/Lawyer
- God has graced you to nurture.
- You have your own work of ministry…. Say this: I have my “OWN,” work
- Some people think that ushering, singing, and greeting are the work of the ministry- that’s work to the saints.
- My role in increasing the church is to increase you. You are to enlarge the church, which will cause it to be built up.
Psalms 119:89 NKJV
- We know that the Word of our God is settled forever
John 1:1-4
- David just told us that forever was the Word settled in heaven. It was settled from the beginning
Psalms 119:130
- He was the Word, and He (the Word) is the light of men. Every time the Word is entered it gives light.
- This light was the life of men…If you don’t have the Word you don’t have light
2 Samuel 22:29-33 (vs. 31) As for God, His Way is perfect, the Word of the Lord is proven.
Psalms 18:30-40 As for God, His Way is perfect, the Word of the Lord is proven.
- When you are in the Word you are Proven. But there is no proof in you going about in your own way.
AS LONG AS YOU ARE IN THE WORD, THERE IS A GUARANTEE, THAT YOU WILL STAND FOREVER!
