Discipleship in Faith

“By Now You Should Be Teachers”

I want you to stay engaged so that you are growing as you ought to grow.

What matters to me is that you are engaged and enlarging your understanding – whether you connect virtually or by coming back to the building.

  • Philippians 4:9
    • NKJV – The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
    • TPT – Follow the example of all that we have imparted to you and the God of peace will be with you in all things.
  • Hebrews 6:12
    • NKJV – that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
    • TPT – So don’t allow your hearts to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm, but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance.

I want you to remember I am teaching “YOU” to become a teacher!

I want you to teach your children what I am teaching you now.

Tithing is an important part of your teaching. Remember that a tenth of all we have belongs to God.

KEY POINT TO REMEMBER: Don’t just applaud my progress and ignore my process.

It’s my duty to tell you what I do to stay on top! I want each of my partners to be on top and stay on top. I want you to lock into the principles of tithing.

It’s important that you have someone to serve as an example before you.

  • I understand that sometimes it’s difficult for you to just hear the Word in precept. Without an example, it may be difficult for you to follow the principle if you do not see the fruit of the principle.
  • For my Spirit of Faithians, you are without excuse because I stand before you as the FRUIT of this principle.
    • Purpose in your heart that a tenth of all you receive belongs to God.
    • Trust God
    • God gives ‘Seed” to the “Sower”
    • Make a correction in your finances to trust God NOW
    • Tithe means a Tenth.

SAY: I am a tither in my heart first!

FOCUS ON THIS POINT: I am committed to your success; therefore, I need you to be committed to your success.

Your grandchildren and great-grandchildren will know the name of Jesus based upon what you have taught your family.

PERSONAL MOMENT: This lesson reminds me of the time I was in the hospital, and when I awakened, Dr. DeeDee showed me all the video footage and pictures she had taken. Dr DeeDee said she did all of this because she knew I would not have believed it, and she wanted me to see all that I had been through. I told her she did an amazing job, her response to me was “I only did what you taught me!”

Here is a question I have asked the men of the ministry: If your life hinged upon what you have taught your family, would you live or would you die?

My oldest daughter was with her mother, Dr DeeDee every step of the way, calling shots because she had enough of the Word of Faith ministered to her prior to the trial I experienced.

Most people would think that I was healed in the hospital, but I was healed “before” I went into the hospital – over 2000 years ago.

As a last-ditch effort, an ECMO machine was used on me and 10 other people. Out of the 11 of us that were placed on the machine, 10 people died and I lived. Why did I live? God loves all of us and his love is unconditional. The promises of God are conditional, they are only accessed by FAITH!

I need you to say this:

  • I receive all the promises of GOD by FAITH!

Let me teach you that FAITH is not past tense. Faith is always present tense!

  • Hebrews 10:39 – But we are not those who drawback to perdition, but those who believe in the saving of the soul.
  • Hebrews 11: 1
    • TPT – Now Faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.
    • NKJV – Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Let’s examine further:

“Seen” is one of our physical senses because we have 5 physical senses. The “seen” here is not just referring to your eyes but referring to that which is not perceived by our physical senses.

You will receive clarity from me in the coming lessons so stick with me.

There are a lot of believers that think they are operating in Faith, but they are not. Your language will give you away. Here are some examples of just that – if you say any of the following:

  • God is “going” to heal me – You are not in Faith
  • God is going: to deliver me – You are not in Faith
  • God is “going” to come through – You are not in Faith

God has already done everything He is going to do. When Jesus said, “It is Finished”, it is finished!

When we speak things in Faith, the Holy Spirit goes to work and enforces what we say, but the

WORK has already been done.

MIKE DROP: I have said this for years: Understanding is divine comprehension in my heart that gives me the ability to repeat something at will. Whatever you do not understand there is no guarantee that you can repeat it at will.

  • I am successful on purpose
  • I am healed on purpose

When I operate in the law of God, you cannot stop me or anything that I am a part of, because of the law of God works for every believer!

I asked Pastor Dewayne to share this from his perspective and he added:

  • “Faith starts when you know something is finished. Fear takes over when you don’t believe that what you are believing is finished.  A lot of people back up from verbalizing what they are believing, because on the canvas of their imagination they do not see it finished. When you listen to the language that people use, it locates them. When you hear someone say “God’s going too…”, you know that they have not embraced what they are believing on the canvas of their imagination.”

Closing Summary: Death and life are in the Power of the Tongue (Proverbs 18:21) Your tongue is going to work for you or against you. Your tongue can be like a thermometer, telling you exactly what is going on in a room. Your tongue can also be a thermostat, changing what is going on. Therefore, it is important that you watch what you say, because you will have what you say.
