Discipleship in Faith

Sunday, January 23, 2022 – RECAP/Study Points

It is imperative that you get off the milk. You should be engaged in the notes that

I send out every week. I am doing everything I can as it relates to pastoring. I need your collaboration and participation. We are going up! The word discipline comes out of the word disciple. The culture has shifted because I am not just talking about you being taught, but I am talking about you becoming teachers. I meditated on the fact that Jesus handpicked 12 (twelve) men and the gospel is now all over the world. How do you get the gospel all over the world with twelve men? What would happen in this region if we got a hold of the gospel of the Apostles of old? This thing would spread better than covid and be so contagious.

It would cause an infection and affection of God’s Word. You must understand that you represent a nation, a tribe and/or a community. My role is to pour into you what the Spirit of God has given me and in return you are to pour into someone else (you ought to be teaching someone else).

Hebrew 5:12 TPT

  • You should already be a professor instructing others by now.
  • Where are those you are instructing?
  • You receive, now you are to go and deliver. Where are your disciples?
  • Discipleship is something that you do not grow out of. As a matter of fact the older you get in age the better you should be at it. There should be some young folks around you.
  • In this virtual world, call a few people and tell them to meet you on Zoom, Facebook or something because you are going to have a meeting. Get your grandsons together.

I want to make sure that every last one of you is disciplined, with regards to the information and the things that I am doing in order for you to become all of what He decided for you to become. In the mind of God long before the foundation of the world something was decided for you.

Ephesian 4:11-12 TPT

  • The teacher that I am calling all of you into is different from the teacher in verse 11, which is the office of the teacher. You will go out and be teachers but not specifically called into the office.
  • My role when we assemble is to nurture and train you, so that you can go do your own work.
  • My challenge to you is where is the work of your ministry thus far?

Hebrews 11:1 NKJV

  • Answer this question? What is faith?
  • What do you believe? fill in the blank

fill in the blank`

In verse one (1) of Hebrews 11, you can interchange the word ‘faith’ with ‘acting on what you believe’.

Synonymous word for hope vision, a goal and focus

Pastor prophecy: I believe that this is your season. This is your year. 22 is for you! Romans 3:27

  • What is the Law of Faith?
    • The Law of Faith is believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth.
    • An example of the Law of Faith: Romans 10:9

Definition of Law

The system of rules which a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members in which it may enforce by the imposition of penalties.

What are the Basic Principals of The Rule of Law?

The rule of law: meaning, benefits and principals of rule of law supremacy of the law this means that the law is the highest authority in the land. The rulers must rule the people according to the law. …Equality before the law this means that all persons are equal before the law and the law should be applied equally to all to all citizens of a country, whether you…right to personal liberty.

  • Laws work for anybody, anywhere at any time.
  • Do not confuse the Law of the Kingdom with the Law of the Land, because the Law of the Land has no equality.
  • Faith is not relevant without a picture/vision (hope)
  • If your picture is full of fear, then that is your faith (that’s the currency) because you’re acting on the picture. Your fear becomes faith twisted. It’s really having faith in fear.

Hebrews 11:2-3

    • What is “it” referring to in verse two (2)? Faith
  • By “faith” the elders obtained a good testimony
  • By faith we understand God framed the world, by the Word of God
  • So that means that we can obtain a good testimony and we can frame our world by words of our mouth.

Hebrews 11:6

  • By acting on what you believe, you please God because without faith it’s impossible to please God.
